Makiah (they/them), a recent homeschool graduate, currently attends a large public university where they have taken classes throughout highschool. They have played cello since age two, presently studying at a music conservatory. They have won concerto competitions and have been a featured performer at music school fundraisers and board meetings. In addition to performing at events in their Roxbury community, they have built a strong reputation as a trainer and advocate on neurodiversity and intersectionality.
